Getting to know Be Autentica

What is Be Autentica, and who is behind it?

I’m Floriana Dupta, a Self-Leadership Mentor and Coach and the founder of Be Autentica. I work with changemakers through one-to-one transformational programmes, helping them change what holds them back from the life and contribution they want.

I bring experience working alongside senior executives and in human resources leadership, together with my own inner transformation and coaching training.

The programmes combine coaching, experiential mentoring and personalised materials for reflection and practice.

Who do you mean by “changemakers”?

By changemakers, I mean people who care about making a difference through something they create, lead or contribute to. You may lead a team or an organisation, support a community or work for a cause you believe in.

You bring your own experience, commitment and way of seeing what is possible. You may be shaping a new initiative or reconsidering how you want to contribute to something already established.

Our work begins with you: what you want to change or achieve, what matters to you now and what makes it difficult to move towards it.

Can we work on my own life as well as my contribution?

Yes. Your own life, needs and desires belong in this work. We can explore the relationship between what you care about in the world and how you want to live.

You may want more room for relationships or creativity, to receive support, or to change the role you have taken on. You may also want to deepen a contribution that still matters to you.

The direction is yours to choose. Your contribution can continue, evolve or come to an end as you discover what feels right for this stage of your life.

Exploring whether this work is right for you

When might a Be Autentica programme be helpful?

A programme may be helpful when you are at a turning point and want to take an active part in what changes next.

Perhaps you want to bring a new idea into the world, change your role or find a way of contributing that feels more like you. You may have achieved a great deal and still feel that something important is missing. Or the responsibility you carry may be leaving too little room for your own life.

We begin with your circumstances and what you want to achieve, working with what holds you back and supporting change in everyday life.

Can I begin if I know what I want but cannot seem to make it happen?

Yes. You may have a clear goal and already have tried several ways of reaching it.

Together, we explore what happens when you try to move forward: your thoughts, emotions, beliefs and habitual responses. You might want to share responsibility yet keep taking it back, or feel ready to offer something new but find yourself waiting for more certainty.

We listen to what lies behind these responses and work towards different ways of meeting the situations you face.

What if I do not yet know what I want to change?

You can begin with an open question. You may feel a distance from the work you do, a sense of dissatisfaction or a desire for something new that you cannot yet put into words.

We start with what you can recognise and describe today. Exploring your experience can help you distinguish what you want, what feels difficult and what needs attention.

Together, we agree on a direction for the work and revisit it as your understanding of what matters to you becomes clearer.

Understanding how we work together

What does self-leadership mean in your approach?

Self-leadership is the ability to guide yourself from within: to recognise what you feel, understand what moves you and take responsibility for your choices.

It grows through your relationship with yourself, including the parts of you that have different needs and desires. From this relationship, you can recognise what feels true to you and choose how to live it within your actual circumstances.

This might mean setting a boundary, making a decision, asking for support or finding your own way to lead and contribute.

How does inner work lead to practical change?

Inner work begins with what you want to change or achieve. We explore how you experience the situation, what you believe about yourself and the responses that tend to repeat.

When we recognise something that constrains you, we work with thoughts, emotions and bodily sensations to experience a different way of being in that situation. From there, we explore choices and actions you can bring into your life.

In later sessions, we return to what happened: what shifted, where you met difficulty and what still needs support. The programme brings together understanding, lived experience, action and consolidation.

We also take account of resources, other people’s responsibilities and the conditions around you. Your choices matter within the wider reality you are part of.

How do coaching, mentoring and support between sessions fit together?

Each programme is shaped around your situation and the goal we agree on together.

In coaching sessions, we explore what matters to you, what supports or holds you back and the possibilities you want to open. Coaching takes place within the competencies and Code of Ethics of the International Coaching Federation.

In mentoring, with your permission, I share perspectives, experiences and tools that may help you see your situation from another angle.

In Inner Shift and Living Contribution, personalised reflection and practice materials and a private chat support the work between sessions. Sessions take place online, on Zoom.

This work concerns your personal development and choices. It does not include psychological diagnosis or treatment and does not replace psychotherapy. When we explore your relationship with an organisation, community or project, the focus is on you as the person leading or contributing to it. Technical, organisational or commercial advice requires the relevant specialist support.

Choosing how to begin

What is the difference between Unlock, Inner Shift and Living Contribution?

Unlock is a one-to-one, 90-minute session focused on a specific situation. It includes a preparation questionnaire.

Inner Shift is an Intensive programme with six 90-minute online sessions over two months. We can focus on a particular theme or explore the wider picture of what you are experiencing, supporting understanding, transformation and your first practical choices.

Living Contribution is a six-month Mentorship with twelve 90-minute online sessions. It offers continuity for broader work on your relationship with yourself and how you live and contribute, with time to experience, integrate and consolidate change.

The choice depends on what you want to work on and the support you need.

How do I choose a programme?

For Inner Shift or Living Contribution, the first step is to complete the questionnaire. Tell me where you are, what you want to change or achieve and the support you are looking for. You do not need to know which programme to choose.

I will read what you share and respond in writing within three working days. If you wish, we can then meet for a free, one-hour Clarity Call to understand your situation more fully and explore whether I can help.

If we see a possibility of working together and you would like a proposal, I will set out the goal, programme, what is included and the investment. You can consider it and decide how you wish to proceed.

For Unlock, you can purchase the session directly, then complete the preparation questionnaire and book your appointment.

How can I get to know your work before starting a programme?

You can read my reflections on Substack, subscribe to Lasting Impact, my newsletter for changemakers, or join the free Be Autentica Changemakers community on Circle.

On Substack, I publish a weekly reflection in Becoming · Shaping · Caring. Lasting Impact is a separate weekly letter about the life you want to live and the difference you want to make. On Circle, you can follow my contributions and join conversations with me and other members.

From time to time, I also offer free Experiences where we explore a theme together and you can experience how I work.

I share experiences, questions and perspectives that I hope will be useful in your own life. You will also find invitations to my individual programmes. You can choose, over time, whether and how you want to deepen the relationship.
